when its dark and grey
when you’ve had a bad day

I’ve carried you when your eyes blurred with tears

when Pandora opened her box I stayed
when everyone thought all was lost, I prayed
when all was gone that’s when I’m made

I’m the light that sets you free
that helps you be all you can be
I’m part of your personality
Hope is eternal, always there when in need
It grows when others help it feed
It may lie dormant or recede
but it is there when you plead
