touch of red

a touch of red
summer is dead
a red leaf on a tree
autumn has come to be

a touch or red
the day is dead
a bit of red in the sky
night won't be denied

the forest has aged
wax leaves on a page
dimmed is the sun
lost in the horizon

time is a wasting
so long
to many things

time is a wasting
so long
to what it brings
